Hello Friends! I would love to see what music activities you are working on at home. Please email photos or videos of you practicing your recorder, your music journal entries, your drawings, playing the piano, or any musical instruments you've made. PLEASE get your parents' permission first! I will post (with parent's permission) in my Photo Gallery( click on "More" at top of page). I miss you all!! Ms. Summers
Dear 4th Graders: Hello! There are a few things that you need to accomplish before we return from this extended break.
1. Songs for the Ohio Show need to be learned and memorized. Below you will find a link to the song lyrics which you can print out, There is also a link to recordings of me playing and singing the songs so you can listen, and then hopefully sing along!
2. Two recorder pieces( Hang on Sloopy and This Land is Your Land) need to be learned and memorized. I will attach music for both for you to print out, or read from your computer/tablet. There are some new notes involved. Refer to the fingering charts in the back of your lesson books.
****There are a few students who did not receive their recorders and books on Thursday. Please email me, and I will have those materials shipped directly to your home from the supplier ASAP.
3. I have also included links for you to explore on your own. I hope you will continue learning about composers, instruments, and the building blocks of music on your own. I look forward to hearing about your musical adventures!
